FSA:英國金融服務(wù)監(jiān)管局是英國金融市場統(tǒng)一的監(jiān)管機(jī)構(gòu)，行使法定職責(zé)，直接向財(cái)政部負(fù)責(zé)。由證券投資委員會(huì)改制而成，為獨(dú)立的非政府組織。

FSA對金融服務(wù)行業(yè)進(jìn)行監(jiān)管。保持高效、有序、廉潔的金融市場。幫助中小消費(fèi)者取得公平交易機(jī)會(huì)；維護(hù)英國金融市場及業(yè)界信心；促進(jìn)公眾對金融制度的理解，了解不同類型投資和金融交易的利益和風(fēng)險(xiǎn)；確保業(yè)者有適當(dāng)經(jīng)營能力及財(cái)務(wù)結(jié)構(gòu)健全，以保護(hù)投資者；同時(shí)，教育投資者正確認(rèn)識投資風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。監(jiān)督、防范和打擊金融犯罪。

英國是目前世界上金融服務(wù)最完善、最健全的國家，并且通過金融服務(wù)監(jiān)管局對（FSA）對所有在其境內(nèi)注冊的金融服務(wù)機(jī)構(gòu)進(jìn)行嚴(yán)格的監(jiān)管。目前接受FSA監(jiān)管的公司有幾百家，但是有資質(zhì)做外匯黃金投資的，只有數(shù)家。

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is an independent non-governmental body, given statutory powers by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. We are a company limited by guarantee and financed by the financial services industry. The Board sets our overall policy, but day-to-day decisions and management of the staff are the responsibility of the Executive Committee.We are accountable to Treasury Ministers and, through them, Parliament. We are operationally independent of government and are funded entirely by the firms we regulate. We are an open and transparent organisation and provide full information for firms, consumers and others about our objectives, plans, policies and rules, including through this website.
